Here’s a fresh accusation though: did the funds reach Germany with the knowledge, or even the encouragement, of the federal government in order to destabilize Europe? Was it to provide an aggressor, in the form of Nazi Germany, to oppose the Soviets and set the pretext for the ideological warfare of the latter parts of the 20th century? The second World War was a way out of the Great Depression for the United States and they profited substantially afterwards, with Europe and East Asia indebted and ingratiated, finally emerging as the world’s first nuclear superpower. In fact nuclear technology represents only one of the spoils of war enjoyed by the United States.

History tells us that men will go to any lengths to accumulate power. The thought of impossibility is a cunning defense mechanism: think about the possibilities, however distasteful or disagreeable they first appear to be.
